Hearts and Hands for
Honduras!
There are several projects going on
in Honduras with Rotary
District 6400.
Phase one of the school project for Hearts and Hands for Honduras has begun February 2008. In February 2008, Rotarians from District 6400, local Rotarians from Honduras, and local citizens of Santa Cruz began work on a 7 room school. All the details regarding the school project can be found HERE.
In December of 2007, work began with several District 6400 and Honduran Rotarians at local schools and orphanages. Roofs were replaced, buildings and the grounds were re-conditioned, and bathrooms were built. More information can be found HERE.
And
some of the Rotarians from the Wayne, Romulus, Garden City,
Westland, and Plymouth Rotary clubs from District 6400 and
other
local Michigan familes are involved in the care, sponsorship, and
re-building of "Casa de la Nina",
an orphange for 23 girls.
